SITHFAB021 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

In this course, you will learn the skills and knowledge to provide responsible service of alcohol under the Liquor Regulation 2018. This course will enable you to work in licenced premises (hotel, restaurant or pub) as well as a registered club.

On successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment in:

  • SITHFAB021 Provide responsible service of alcohol (RSA)

This course can be taken in conjunction with SITHGAM022 PROVIDE RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING SERVICES (RCG).

If you choose to combine with the Responsible Gambling Services course, you will also learn the skills and knowledge to responsibly monitor gambling under the Gaming Machines Regulation 2019. It is perfect if you will be working as a gaming attendant, croupier or multi-skilled food and beverage attendant.

One full day training session 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Day 1: RSA

Day 2: RCG

2 x Day course $280 GST Free (save $20)

  • RSA Only: 1 x Day course $170 GST Free
  • RCG Only: 1 x Day course $130 GST Free

This training is subsidised by the New South Wales Government. Please ask us about your eligibility for the ACE Community Service Obligation program funding.

The Fine Print

You do not need to be 18 years or older to complete the course, however, it is the minimum legal age to use the certification. You must bring photo identification on the day of training.

Please note that there is a strict start time of 9am. Late arrivals will not be permitted entry to the course.

If you have completed RSA training in another State other than NSW, please contact Liquor and Gaming NSW regarding the online NSW RSA Bridging Course. You may be eligible to obtain a NSW competency card with an RSA endorsement. This information must be disclosed prior to enrolment in an RSA course.

Please consult liquorandgaming.nsw.gov.au to determine whether you require the licensee training.
