Meet Sam Longmore – VERTO’s Inclusive Employment Australia Ambassador
VERTO is proud to have Sam Longmore as our Inclusive Employment Australia Ambassador. Sam is a passionate advocate for accessibility and inclusivity, using her lived experience, resilience, and determination to help shape a more inclusive future for people with disability.
Sam’s Story
Almost 12 years ago, Sam’s life changed forever after a series of car accidents left her with physical disabilities. Instead of letting these challenges define her, Sam transformed her experiences into a platform for advocacy and action. Today, she is recognised as a leading voice for disability inclusion across workplaces, communities, and public spaces.
A Champion for Inclusion
Sam has worked alongside organisations to implement inclusive workplace policies and create environments where everyone feels welcome and supported. She also mentors young professionals, encouraging them to chase their goals despite the barriers they may face.
Her advocacy extends beyond the workplace. From competing in sporting events that challenge perceptions of disability, to delivering inspirational keynote speeches, Samantha’s honesty, humour, and powerful storytelling continue to break down stereotypes and inspire others to see what’s possible.
Partnering with VERTO
As VERTO’s Inclusive Employment Australia Ambassador, Sam will help amplify the voices of people with disability, share her story through engaging content and events, and inspire communities to rethink barriers and embrace inclusion. She will also play a key role in VERTO’s annual International Day of People with Disability event in December 2025, continuing to champion accessibility and encourage positive change.
