The Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) is a tool which describes an individual’s performance in the five core skills of learning, reading, writing, oral communication, and numeracy. There are five levels within the ACSF, from 1 to 5, with a higher number indicating higher performance in the identified core skills. Individual scores are provided for each of the core skills. This allows strengths to be identified and allows training to be targeted towards areas of need.
Most of VERTO’s courses will require an ACSF level to be established prior to enrolment with some qualifications requiring you to achieve a particular score to be enrolled whilst others are used to gauge your current level and areas requiring improvement or additional foundation subjects.
Your ACSF level will be established via our Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) quiz. These are undertaken as part of the enrolment process once you submit an enrolment application. The below is a list of the levels for each of our qualifications.
