Platypi kicking goals with VERTO sponsorship

VERTO CEO, Ron Maxwell, has proudly announced today that VERTO will be major sponsor of the Panorama Platypi Rugby League Club for 2020-2021.

Mr Maxwell said he was thrilled to be able to support the team and help to provide young women from Bathurst, Oberon, Lithgow, Orange and surrounding regions with a fun and safe pathway to develop their talents.

“VERTO’s core values of encouraging female participation aligned well with what the team at the Panorama Platypi Rugby League Club are trying to achieve, so we jumped at the opportunity to support them,” he said.

“VERTO already partners with Tradeswomen Australia, and we are big believers that women should feel empowered to pursue their dreams and have as many opportunities as their male counterparts, whether that be in the workplace or on the football field.”

Panorama Platypi Rugby League Club President, Catherine Hanrahan, said VERTO’s sponsorship would allow players, supporters and families to gather and enjoy the game of rugby league, while creating friendships for life.

“Raising funds to purchase uniforms, equipment, trophies and ongoing expenses is very difficult for a small, non-profit organisation, and without the continued support from local businesses like VERTO, we would not be able to continue to deliver the current level of development, growth and community involvement that we do now,” she said.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have VERTO come on board as major sponsor. To partner with such a highly respected organisation that prioritises female inclusion is something all our players and supporters are really proud of.”

Ms Hanrahan also paid tribute to the club’s other important sponsors, including The Hallows Accommodation, Borg, Bustin Free Earthworks and A1 Towing Bathurst.
