Not-for-profit employment services provider VERTO is proud to announce the appointment of Samantha Longmore as its new Disability Employment Services ambassador.
A passionate advocate for accessibility and inclusivity, Samantha brings her unique experience, resilience, and dedication to this new role, furthering VERTO's mission to support individuals with disabilities in achieving their employment goals.
Samantha's journey is one of remarkable strength and determination. Nearly 11 years ago, a series of car accidents drastically changed her life, leaving her with physical disabilities. Undeterred, Samantha transformed her personal experiences into a powerful force for advocacy and action. Her commitment to breaking down barriers and creating inclusive environments has earned her a reputation as a leading voice for disability inclusion.
In her professional life, Samantha has excelled as a champion for accessibility and inclusivity in the workplace. She has collaborated with various organisations to implement inclusive policies, ensuring workplaces are welcoming and accommodating for all. Beyond policy work, Samantha actively mentors young professionals, encouraging them to pursue their dreams despite the obstacles they may face.
Samantha’s participation in various sports events has raised awareness about the capabilities of individuals with disabilities and challenged societal norms. Additionally, Samantha is known for her public speaking engagements, where her honesty, humour, and powerful storytelling drive audiences to recognize and dismantle barriers to inclusion.

As part of her role, Samantha will work closely with the VERTO to produce a series of engaging content pieces and participate in key events, including VERTO’s International Day of People with a Disability event in December 2024.
"I am honoured to join VERTO as their Disability Employment Services ambassador. My journey has been about pushing boundaries, and I’m excited to work with VERTO to continue this mission,” Samantha said.
“We must create inclusive environments where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. I look forward to collaborating with the VERTO team to raise awareness, challenge societal norms, and support individuals with disabilities in achieving their full potential."
