On behalf of the VERTO Board and after a comprehensive national search I am pleased to announce that Ron Maxwell has been appointed as the new CEO of VERTO.
Ron comes to VERTO, as the previous CEO of Western College in Dubbo and has a long standing association with VERTO and extensive experience in regional business development and operations.
Along with a Bachelor of Business (economics) and a Company Directors Diploma, Ron holds a Graduate Certificate in Innovation, Education and Training. He has 20 years’ experience in the commercial sector and understands the needs of industry and business. Ron has served on various boards and is currently a member of the ACPET NSW executive committee, NSSC reference group for the introduction of the new NVR standards 2014, and is a member of the NSW State Training Services Smart and Skilled reference group.
Ron has also served as a member of the ACPET National VET committee and is a former Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President. Ron has been profiled several times in Campus Review for his achievements and is referred to as "one of the new thinkers".
Ron and his family, Kathie, Joel, Rachel and Danica have relocated to Bathurst and are pleased to join the team with the dedicated staff at VERTO.
