“Helping the local community through challenging times is why I do what I do. These communities have been through drought, bushfires, floods and the COVID-19 pandemic in the last few years and they need all the support they can get. My goal is to deliver a personalised, respectful and valuable service to every one of my job seekers as a trusted partner, working to make our community a better place,” she said.
This dedication to her community is not only what drives Ann Maree, it was what led to her recognition as a finalist in this prestigious award.
“I am so honoured to be named a finalist and to be part of a wonderful team that all work towards making the futures of our clients better. Of course, I am looking forward to the awards event, but to be appreciated and respected by my fellow work colleagues and the people that I work for in the community is an even higher honour to me. I just hope that I can do everyone proud,” she said.
