VERTO Extends ISO9001 Quality Certification Across Organisation

VERTO is proud to have expanded its ISO9001 quality certification to new areas of its business, following a comprehensive, independent, external audit conducted in January 2017.

ISO9001 is the world’s most widely recognised quality management system. An ISO9001 quality management system is designed to continually monitor and manage quality across all operations, and outlines ways to achieve, as well as benchmark, consistent performance and service. As part of the 1SO9001 certification process, VERTO was audited by BSI (who are an Australian and global market leader).

As a result of the audit, VERTO’s Disability Employment Services and jobactive programs, as well as its Registered Training Organisation, were re-certified against the ISO9001:2015 standards. The organisation received an extension of scope to also include its Australian Apprenticeship Support Network and Tenants’ Advice and Advocacy services in the ISO9001:2015 certification.

VERTO chief executive, Ron Maxwell, said these certifications duly recognise VERTO’s ongoing commitment to being a quality and compliant provider of government services.

“I’m extremely proud of VERTO’s recent achievements in relation to achieving an ISO9001 certification across the majority of our service areas,” Mr Maxwell said.

“These certifications reflect the VERTO team’s efforts to improve the way we deliver our services and our commitment to customer satisfaction.

“It also highlights VERTO’s efforts to create business efficiencies and continually improve our operational performance.

“Of particular note, is the fact the auditors reported no non-conformances and commended the organisation’s commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
