Bathurst locals will have more reason to cheer at the Supercheap Bathurst 1000 in October, with VERTO today announcing they will again proudly sponsor young up-and-comer, Todd Hazelwood.
VERTO CEO, Ron Maxwell, said: “Todd embodies VERTO’s core values - he is a young professional who has shown great passion for his chosen career and is dedicated to achieving his career goals and aspirations, no matter the obstacles.
“That’s why VERTO is again proud to throw our support behind Todd and his new team Brad Jones Racing as they strive to win the world’s most famous V8 Supercar race.”
Mr Maxwell said this was the seventh year VERTO has sponsored the 24-year-old, who is coming off a career best third place finish in the TruckAssist Sydney SuperSprint race on 19 July.
“I am truly grateful and proud to announce that VERTO will continue to partner with and support me at this year's Bathurst 1000,” Todd said.
“Over the years, VERTO and I have shared the highs and lows of this cruel race, but I truly believe that the team and I are better prepared than ever in 2020,” he added.
Brad Jones, Team Owner at Brad Jones Racing, said: “I am very excited to welcome VERTO to our team at Brad Jones Racing for the 2020 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.
“I feel we fit well with VERTO and their regional heritage, with Brad Jones Racing being the only regional-based Supercars team in the championship.
“VERTO has been one of Todd’s long-term supporters and I’m very proud to have them join BJR for our biggest event of the year."
Todd will step into the #14 Holden Commodore for Brad Jones Racing when he takes to Mount Panorama from 8 - 10 October 2020.
