VERTO Chief Executive Officer, Ron Maxwell, today announced VERTO has been named as the 2015 New South Wales (NSW) Large Training Provider of the Year.
Mr. Maxwell said VERTO was extremely excited and proud to take out this prestigious, state-wide award at the 2015 NSW Training Awards, particularly given the organisation’s humble beginnings as an evening college in the 1980s.
“VERTO has a long and rich history of helping people right across NSW to achieve their education and career goals,” Mr. Maxwell said.
“It’s extraordinary to think that the organisation has grown from a local evening college in Bathurst to now be named the best large training provider in NSW.
“It shows that anything is possible if you dream big,” Mr. Maxwell said.
Mr. Maxwell also acknowledged the other finalists in the Large Training Provider of the Year category.
“I would like to congratulate and acknowledge the Australian Institute of Fitness and
Australian Training and Consulting for being named as finalists and I wish them all the very best for the future,” Mr. Maxwell said.
“Congratulations also must go to our partner, Richmond Valley Council, for taking out the Large Employer of the Year award and to our signee Bethany Spoor (from Ballina), for being named Trainee of the Year,” Mr. Maxwell said.
VERTO will now compete in the 2015 Australian Training Awards in Hobart in November. For more information, please visit - http://www.australiantrainingawards.gov.au/
