During the month of December, VERTO will make a financial donation to 12 Australian-based charities in the hope of making a small difference this festive season.
VERTO Chief Executive Officer, Ron Maxwell, said the 12 Days of Giving Campaign saw VERTO employees nominate their favourite charities, who will each receive a $200 donation and promotion for the services they offer on VERTO’s social media channels.
“As both a not-for-profit and a charitable organisation, VERTO is very proud to support other Australian-based charities and the wonderful work they do to support some of the most vulnerable during the Christmas period,” he said.
“For many, 2020 has been the most difficult year ever. So with Christmas being a time of giving, VERTO wanted to give something back to these wonderful charities that have no doubt had their resources stretched to the limit during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The best part about this campaign is that all of the chosen charities were nominated by VERTO’s team members because they are passionate about the services they provide to our local communities.”
The charities chosen as part of VERTO’s 12 Days of Giving Campaign are:
1. Lifeline Australia
2. Melanoma Institute Australia
3. The Salvation Army Australia
4. Epilepsy Foundation
5. Mama Lana’s Community Foundation
