VERTO to deliver Skills for Education and Employment program in New South Wales

Not-for-profit employment and training services provider, VERTO, is excited to announce it will be expanding its range of services in the Hunter and Murray Riverina regions of NSW after being awarded a contract to deliver the Australian Government’s Skills for Education and Employment program (SEE).

SEE is a Department of Employment and Workplace Relations program that helps individuals to grow their employment options through improved reading, writing, maths and digital skills.

Training will be tailored to suit individual abilities and goals, with VERTO delivering the program flexibly, both part and full-time, in Charlestown, Maitland, Singleton, Cessnock, Albury and Wagga Wagga.

"AT VERTO, we pride ourselves on providing life-changing employment and training outcomes for all our clients, and the SEE program is a wonderful addition to our suite of services,” VERTO CEO Ron Maxwell said.

“Unfortunately, many people are not confident in their reading, writing, maths or computer skills.

“Participating in the SEE program will provide individuals with foundation skills for further study, better jobs and most importantly, will boost personal confidence.

“VERTO will also work with all employers looking to improve the literacy, numeracy and digital skills of their workforce,” Mr. Maxwell said.

VERTO will commence delivering the SEE program from 1 July 2024. For more information on VERTO’s full suite of services, please visit www.verto.org.au or phone 1300 4 VERTO (1300 483 786).
