VERTO is a provider of the ParentsNext program which is a voluntary program designed to help parents with young children plan and prepare for future employment or study. For those looking to re-enter the workplace, this service is designed to support you through the process.
We understand that parents need flexibility, so our offering gives you options. We can meet with you in person or over the phone - whatever is convenient for you. Once we understand your requirements, we’ll work together on a dedicated plan specifically for you to support your journey on the path to employment.
Choosing to participate in ParentsNext can help you:
- Access financial support to assist you meet your education or employment goals, including the cost of accessing childcare, starting work (such as clothing, transport or tools) and costs associated with training or study.
- Connect with other parents and local support services.
- Develop and write a resume, and practice for job interviews.
- Find a training course or work experience.
- Access childcare.
- Access counselling and other non-vocational support services.
- Find volunteer or paid work that fits with your goals and family.
*We provide tailored support to your personal circumstances, goals and abilities. Given ParentsNext is a voluntary program, you can take advantage of the benefits of ParentsNext, however there are no penalties if you choose not to participate at any time.
The program is available in Ballina, Bathurst, Casino, Condobolin, Cowra, Dubbo, Forbes, Grafton, Kyogle, Lismore, Lithgow, Maclean, Mudgee, Orange, Parkes and Wellington.
