Do you want to make an immediate and profound impact on the welfare of vulnerable people? This qualification will support you to get the skills and knowledge you need to excel in the support industry.
Possible positions include:
- Community Health Worker
- Family Support Worker
- Migrant Community Worker
- Tenants Advisory Worker
- Welfare Rights Worker
There are no formal entry requirements to undertake this qualification as per the training package. Students will however be required to obtain a National Police Check that has no offences listed that would exclude them from working in the community services sector with vulnerable persons.
You may also be required to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) should the work require you to be in the vicinity of children and/or an NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) if it is a requirement of the work placement site.
Our training options are flexible to meet the needs of every student. Training options include face to face, a combination of face to face and online, work based training or traineeships. Average course duration is between 12-24 months.
