Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements to undertake this qualification as per the training package. Students will however be required to obtain a National Police Check that has no offences listed that would exclude them from working in the community services sector with vulnerable persons.
You may also be required to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) should the work require you to be in the vicinity of children and/or an NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) if it is a requirement of the work placement site.
Course Delivery
Our training options are flexible to meet the needs of every student. Training options include face to face, a combination of face to face and online, work based training or traineeships. Average course duration is between 12-18 months.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
