Barista and Cafe Skills

In this course, you'll learn the skills and knowledge to work in a café/food outlet. This hands on practical course will give you experience in a commercial setting.

On successful completion of accredited units, you will be issued a Statement of Attendance in:

Course One (Option 1) - delivered over 5 days

  • SITHFAB024 Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages
  • SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety

Course Two (Option 2) - delivered over 3 days

  • SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety

For non-accredited content, a Certificate of Attendance can be issued upon request

  • Coffee making

Delivery Details

5 or 3 full day training sessions 9:00am – 3:30pm
(training days depending on completing course 1 or 2)

Financial Information

Course One (Option 1) - $400 GST Free

Course Two (Option2) - $330 GST Free

This training is subsidised by the New South Wales Government. Please ask us about your eligibility for the ACE Community Service Obligation program funding.

The Fine Print

You must wear a uniform of long black pants, black top and enclosed shoes on each day of training. Each day of training for your chosen option must be attended.
